FireStats 0.9.8-beta was released.
I didn’t skip 0.9.7, it was released as well, but had some serious problems.
New in 0.9.7 - 0.9.8 :
* Significant security updates, including the option to lock the database configuration.
* Initial Media Wiki support.
* Initial Drupal support
* The ability to choose a language from the settings tab.
* Control over the parameters of popular pages and recent referers.
* Many bugs fixed.
As usual, all the information can be found at the project site.

Hi - I am getting a php bug with FireStats (WP) and I also don’t seem to be able to create a TRAC ticket for it. Rather then put this in a comment can you email me so I can send you the details? (Your ‘Contact’ link above is also not working).

Great plugin!
Just a question tho’, how do I go about clearing the “Excluded users” list?
Thank you

The users in the list are just showing, they are not excluded.
if you did exclude them, you can deselect with ctrl click and save.

Thank you for working so hard on this plugin. It’s really cool except it’s extremely large — bordering on bloatware. It slows down all my WP blogs, so I had to remove it. Hopefully you can make a lighter weight version of Firestats. For now i’ll just use the Awstats plugin. Thanks again.

the size of the plugin has nothing to do with the speed of the blog.
the only reason I can think of that it slowed down your blog is that you put the sidebar widget or footer statistics in there, which can make it slow if your stats got into very high numbers.
this issue will be resolved in the future.
